Built in Uganda,Built for Africa
We bridge technology and human potential — creating a smarter, healthier generation of learners across Uganda's 500+ schools.
From a Dorm Room to500 Schools
In 2020, three Makerere University students noticed something troubling: the highest-performing students kept dropping out — not for academic reasons, but undiagnosed health issues that went unnoticed in overcrowded classrooms.
They built a simple wearable dashboard for their own hostel. Within a month, the school nurse was asking to use it. Today, Smarty Health monitors over 150,000 students across 12 Ugandan districts — and we're just getting started.
